Brunch is my favorite meal—
I love that you don't have to pick between sweet and savory foods, and it always relaxes you for the rest of the weekend.
A big bowl of fresh fruit does a great job balancing out
any indulgence.
In the morning, I don't want to look too done-up, so I give my lips just a touch of fresh color (my favorite is Nude Rose).
A potato galette is one of the best
things to serve for brunch since you
can do all of the work beforehand.
It looks beautiful, tastes great and
looks deceivingly complex.
When I'm hosting friends for brunch, I'm usually
in a simple shirt and jeans. In the kitchen though,
I always throw on a colorful apron so I don't end
up wearing the meal before we even sit down.
Coffee is essential. I get my beans from
a local coffeehouse and make sure there's
more than enough to go around.
