TIPS
BEAUTY TIPS
MAKE EYESHADOW LAST
- Start with a small drop of Idealist Refinishing Eye Serum applied to your eyelids and allow it to set a minute.
- Apply your eyeshadow and liner as usual-the makeup will glide on more smoothly and last longer.
GREAT SHADES
- Hello, blue eyes: Enhance cool blue or green eyes with colors with a little blue or yellow in them like, taupe, grey, violet, turquoise, brown, plum, lime green.
- Brown-eyed girl: Warm, brown eyes work with virtually any color, especially copper, bronze, champagne, emerald, gold and beige.
USING SHADOW AS LINER
For a softer look, use eyeshadow as eyeliner. Use the angled Eyeliner Brush 7E to blend eyeshadow along the base of your lashes. Press and wiggle the brush. When you get to the outer corner of the eye, turn the brush upward at a 45 degree angle and repeat. This helps blend the color to the outer corner.
MAKING MOD EYES
- Apply your favorite light shade of Pure Color EyeShadow all over the lid.
- Next, add depth and contour with a deeper shade applied just over browbone (don't apply it to the crease of the eye-that simply makes the eyelid look bigger).
- Next, use a dark shade of Artist's Eye Pencil to line the top lid, and draw to the outer corner of the eye.
- To add drama, use a different (darker) shade of eyeliner atop the original line.
- Finally, line inside the lower lid with a warm shade of Artist's Eye Pencil (such as Copper Writer).
- To finish the look, sweep on your favorite shade of MagnaScopic Mascara.
MAKE EYES LOOK YOUNGER
- Sweep Pure Color EyeShadow from the outer corner of the lid straight up to the brow bone and dot.
- Blend from the outside in.
- For pink puffy areas, try Pure Color EyeShadow in Sand Box.
