Look #1: Double Wear + moisturizer

“A clean, fresh, matte face [is] how I feel most put-together, whether I’m hanging out at home or having a day in the kitchen,” Calderone says. We started out simply, mixing a pea-sized amount of Double Wear with moisturizer to sheer it out, then applying with a foundation brush just to uneven areas. Most of us have redness or discoloration at the center of the face, so blend outward from there to keep the look natural.

Look #2: Double Wear + Advanced Night Repair

We often think skincare first, makeup second when it comes to our beauty routines, but this reverse method gives skin the ultimate radiance while still looking polished. “Having something that’s long-lasting is a necessity in my hectic world,” Calderone explains. With its 15-hour staying power, plus a heat- and humidity-proof track record, a light application of Double Wear all over can withstand multiple burners and pulling dishes in and out of the oven. Top with a few drops of Advanced Night Repair on cheekbones and the bridge of the nose for a dewy finish.

Look #3: Double Wear + Pure Color Envy Lipstick

While lipstick is the finishing touch for most looks, we’re using it in an unexpected way here. Calderone says a rosy cheek is a staple of her beauty routine, so we crafted a custom solution: Draw a few swipes of lipstick on the back of your hand, add a dab of foundation, and use your fingertip to blend. (The brighter the lipstick, the better, since the foundation will diffuse it.) The resulting mixture creates an easy cream blush you can swirl onto the apples of your cheeks for a soft flush.

Look #4: Double Wear + Illuminating Perfecting Primer

“The best cooking is all about how you play with opposing, contrasting and even juxtaposing shocking elements,” Calderone says. “In my food, I love to add something sweet with something spicy. Same with how I dress—I love to wear something sweet with something edgy.” This beauty combination works the same way. Double Wear is naturally matte, but a veil of illuminating primer underneath (or just mix the two products equally) gives the complexion an ultra-flattering candlelit glow.

Look #5: Double Wear + Perfectionist Serum & Concealer + Pure Color Envy EyeShadow

A day in the kitchen requires keeping things simple, but once the pans are put away, it’s all about adding a little something extra. “I love a clean face, but before I go out at night, I might throw on a red lip or a little bit of shimmer,” Calderone reveals of her usual routine. For this strobed effect, start with a base of Double Wear, then glide Perfectionist Youth-Infusing Brightening Serum in an arc along cheekbones and up underneath the brow bones. Pat a neutral metallic eyeshadow over the serum for a radiance that really pops.
